In reality, it isn't that difficult to gain gold quickly. The problem is that most players don't put enough effort into research and discovering how to farm correctly. 200 gold an hour is not an unreachable goal!

5. Sell drops, gathered leathers, stacks of linen or metals at the Auction House; you will probably get better prices than the vendors. You may be able to buy low and sell on for a higher price. Understand the values of goods on your server. Get the add-on Auctioneer to track prices.
6. Don't level crafting professions before you are rich and level 70.
Remember, World of Warcraft economy is very much like a real-world free-market economy. Try to use things you have seen or observed in the real world and apply them to the game.
